Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, is located only twenty minutes from Baneberry Meadows. Designed in 1936, the home epitomizes 20th century modern architecture and is Wright’s interpretation of the integration of man and nature. Recognized as one of the world’s most important architectural attractions, the house is presented as the Kaufmann’s lived in it, complete with the original furnishings and art works. Flight 93 National Memorial is located at 6424 Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, Pennsylvania, 15563. This national memorial, erected in the memory of the passengers and crew of Flight 93, is their final resting place. Their action was one of bravery and self sacrifice which will long be remembered.
Seven Springs has more than 285 acres of ski and snowboard terrain, so you can ski, snowboard or snow tube throughout the winter months. During the warmer months there is a large gold course to be enjoyed, adrenaline junkies can get their blood pumping with the Laurel Ridgeline Canopy Tour or Screaming Hawk Zipline, sporting clays or paintball, just to name a few of our most popular recreational activities.
Fort Ligonier is located in quaint and historic Ligonier. This important outpost along the Forbes Road is a fascinating insight into life during the French and Indian War and is the finest example of this type of fort in North America.
Donegal Highlands Golf Course is a short drive down route 31 from Baneberry Meadows. This public golf course has a Golf Digest five star rating. Stop by the Black Dog Pub after your game for a relaxing drink and bite to eat.

Donegal Lake is a short 15 minute ride from Baneberry Meadows. If you like relaxing by the lake with your pole in the water and a cool drink with your picnic lunch, this is the perfect way to spend the afternoon.
Antique shops in the area are fun to visit and experience. Somerset is home to many shops. Cottage Pine Antiques at Georgian Place and Sugar Grove Shoppes, just to name a few are open 7 days a week. In the town of Ligonier there are many different places to shop and they are all within walking distance of the diamond. If you care to venture out of Ligonier on Rt. 30 close to Idlewild Park, there are two antique shops you should visit, Ligonier Fleatique (724-238-9198) and Graham’s Antique Mall (724-238-8611). These are within 5 minutes of each other.
Caddie Shak Family Entertainment Center is a great family fun destination in the Laurel Highlands! They have an outdoor fun park with three Go Kart Tracks, two Mini Golf Courses, Driving Range, Batting Cages, Bumper Boats, small amusement rides, and a restaurant. They’re open Spring through early Fall.
